Exploring Chinese Scholar's Garden 寄興園

Chinese Scholar's Garden
寄 興 園

"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes,
but in having new eyes." - Marcel Proust

A Ming Dynasty style garden to be found in New York City!
One of the gems in this beautiful City.

The garden was moulded after a scholar's garden in Suzhou, China.
All components were manufactured in China;
shipped to Staten Island and imported over 50 Chinese artisans -
it took about 6 months to assemble the whole garden!

This garden would transport you to another era
in China; and you would find different beauty
and inspiration here in each season.
